Nominations

Principal Susan Roy announced the date of elections and called for the nominated students to send their Profile / Logo and justification to be chosen as an efficient leader through mail.

Campaigning

Students who were found eligible were given permission to campaign In all the classes.

The candidates went from class to class during HRP and Lunch break convincing their peers and juniors to cast their valuable votes for them. They also spoke to the whole school on the speaker system. Convincing Grade 5 was a challenge for the contestants.

Elections

Students from grade 5 onwards ,cast their votes on the electronic voting system, which was programmed by Yajat Visvakarma and Shashank of grade 10. It was an exciting and new learning experience for the voters when their fingers bore the mark of voting.

Interview by Seniors

The candidates were interviewed first by the senior cabinet (Students chosen by the Principal) and this was followed by Rapid fire were the students were interviewed by a panel consisting of the Principal, Vice Principal, Head of Kindergarten, English and Science HOD and Admin Manager.

Declaration of Results

Both the senior and junior cabinet were given the task of predicting situation in the video shown by the Principal. This made them realize the importance of decision making as a leader.

Group Discussions

The day came for the announcement of cabinet members, excitement in the air and anxiety on the faces . The chosen cabinet members were declared by the Principal on the speaker system.
