The investiture ceremony of St. Paul’s English School was conducted on 21st July, 2021 and was streamed on YouTube.

The theme for the event was “RESILIENCE REDEFINED” keeping in mind the current pandemic situation and its effect on students.

The ceremony began with an invocation song accompanied with the lightning of the lamp. School Captain Misha of Grade X delivered the Welcome Address followed by detailed explanation of the Election process by the Vice Principal Ms. Deepa Gopal.

The ceremony proceeded with the Head Boy/Head Girl and School Captains receiving the badges from Principal Ms. Susan Roy. The entire cabinet then took the oath of Office, administered by the School Principal.

The school choir then performed the song “Love Can Turn the World” with gems of lyrics such as ‘if coal can turn into diamond and sand can turn into pearl, if a worm can turn into a butterfly, then love can turn the world’.

The Chief Guest for this auspicious event was the renowned Publisher/Editor of ‘The Education World Magazine’ Mr. Dilip Thakur, who also shared a few words of wisdom with the Head Boy and Head Girl, Taysir and Siri.

The ceremony drew to a close as the choir sang “Goodness of God” followed by the Principal’s address which inspired and motivated the students. She spoke on the leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Malala, Princess Diana who succeeded because of their Resilience .

Lastly Arwa, the Assistant Head Girl delivered the Vote of Thanks and the ceremony concluded with the School Anthem.
