St. Paul’s English School, J.P. Nagar, held its Junior Annual Sports Meet on 18th February 2015. The theme for the event was ‘Reflections on Excellence”.

Mr. Shah Senior member of Management, Mr. G. Thangadurai, Director Presidency Group of Schools and Ms. Bhunaveshwari, Principal of Presidency School, South graced the occasion with their presence. The Sports Meet was declared open by Ms. Bhunaveshwari.

The highlights of the day were colourful displays representing marine life, penguins, sunflowers, peacocks and butterflies. The tiny tots of Pre KG, Prep I, Prep II, Grade I and Grade II put their best foot forward as they swayed to scintillating tunes. The colourful props added life to their performance.

The St. Paul’s choir under the guidance of Mr. Rajeed and Mr. Bizalle came out with melodious songs in praise of the Divine. An innovative medley of nursery rhymes added joy to the programme.

The Sports Day was laced with a variety of athletic events like the clip race, frog and prince race, object race and relays. Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners of each event which brought a smile on their face.

Principal Ms. Susan Roy thanked the teaching and non-teaching faculty for their unstinted support in making the Junior Annual Sport Day a success. Ms. Deepa Gopal, Vice Principal in accordance with the theme, “Reflections of Excellence” read out a report on the academic and curricular achievements of St. Paul’s.
