The Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated on 15th November 2014 at ‘St. Paul’s English School’.

The Programme commenced with an inaugural dance followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.

The chief guest for the event was Ms. Nirmala G.V., who is an eminent scientist and has authored many books.

Rachana of Grade VIII, welcomed the august gathering. All the schools of Presidency Group participated in the function.

The team events for the day were folk dance, drama, group song and quiz competitions.

The children participated with great enthusiasm, and they won many merit certificates and prizes.

The celebration concluded with the singing of ‘Nada-Geete’-Jai Bharatha Jananiya Tanujathe Jaya He Karnataka Mathe.

The Principal of St. Paul’s English School, Ms. Susan Roy rendered the vote of thanks.

With the guidance and support of the Principal Ms. Susan Roy, Vice-Principal Ms. Deepa Gopal and Kannada HOD Ms. B C Leelavathi and all the teachers of Kannada, Sanskrit and Art department, the programme went on smoothly and was appreciated by all.
