St Paul’s English School celebrated the 72nd Republic Day with unprecedented patriotic furore.
The National Flag was hoisted with great pride by the Principal Ms. Susan Roy. She was accompanied by Ms. Shobha the Principal of Presidency Junior College, J.P.Nagar , Mr.Venkatesh Murthy -the Vice Principal , Ms. Prathiba and Ms. Brinda from the curriculum department.
Anisha of grade 12 led by the other cabinet members, took the pledge to uphold the moral values and promised to be responsible citizens of India. This was followed with the formal invocation song and welcome address.
The patriotic emotions were further kindled by Niharika with a solo dance performance to the song ‘Namo Namo Bharathambe’. Arya Sandeep spoke on the significance of the day. A group dance performance to the song ‘Jai Ho ‘got the audience tapping their feet.
It was time to listen to the message from the Principal Ms.Susan Roy, and she was ready with apt anecdote and message on our theme for today ‘My Experiment with Truth’.
The programme held on the school grounds , concluded with a vote of thanks and a soulful medley by the school choir. The morning ended on a high note with the Republic Day virtual celebrations. Watch the complete video below:
