 CELEBRATION OF TEACHER’S DAY 2017

St. Paul’s English School celebrated Teacher’s Day 2017 in its auditorium on Sep 5, 2017 between 3.40 p.m. and 5.45 p.m. The cabinet members and students of Grade X took part in the celebration. The celebration started with Principal, Susan Roy’s address, thanking each teacher for his or her unstinted support in realizing her dream to make St. Paul’s English School an ideal place to bring up a child into a humane and efficient citizen. She also thanked the students for their contribution in making the celebration warm and joyful.

Chathurya and Suraj, cabinet members, on behalf of all the students, thanked the teachers for the foundational role they have played in their lives. Principal, Susan Roy, felicitated the Heads of all the departments and the teachers of grade X for their rigorous endeavor towards achieving record-high results for the school with student-made collage cards. The Principal, with students, cut a cake to mark the completion of one and beginning of another year of commendable work of the teachers. She also presented a poem in the form of a bookmark to the teachers on behalf of the students. The school choir sang a paean to express their gratitude to the Principal and the teachers. After the students went at around 4.45 p.m., the Principal motivated the teachers to play a role, motherly and filial, and focus on bringing the students up into compassionate and humane individuals with two anecdotes. She, then, presented a short write-up of appreciation for each teacher, consolidated department-wise, in a drawing board. Besides this, she also presented the teachers with a bookmark-shaped goal reminder, printed with the goals teachers had zeroed down at the beginning of the session. Teachers enjoyed a slice of the cake and called it a day at 5.45 p.m.
