World Environment Day was celebrated in a unique manner on June 5th 2014, by St Pauls English School, JP Nagar. As an initiative towards saving the Environment and reducing pollution, the Paulites demonstrated their enthusiasm by conducting a bicycle rally in and around JP Nagar. The event was presided over by the Director of Presidency Group of Institutions Mr Thangadurai who was an active and enthusiastic participant in the cycle rally. The corporator Mr. Chandrashekar Raju and Mr Shah, member of the Management flagged off the event. Throughout the 3km rally, the Paulites with great excitement and joy shouted slogans like “GO GREEN”, “STOP POLLUTION”, which attracted the attention of passerby’s and residents of neighbourhood. The campaign was a great success, as over 200 students participated in the cycle rally and did their bit for a clean, better and pollution free environment in Bangalore. The traffic inspectors of JP Nagar helped the Paulites in conducting the rally safely.
